
Red Salsa
Fresh salsa is delicious, easy to make and can be enjoyed in many different ways. It is a perfect accompaniment to Mexican cuisine or can be used to add a burst of flavor to any dish.

Ingredients
1 – 28 oz. can of whole peeled tomatoes (or San Marzano), completely drained
3 – 4 garlic cloves, peeled and rough chopped
2 2 jalapeños, roughly chopped (remove seeds for less heat)
1/2 1/2 white onion, roughly chopped
1 tsp. 1 kosher salt
1 tsp. 1 cumin
1 tsp. 1 sugar
1 1 lime, juiced
Up to 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro (picked off the stems & rough chopped)
Directions
- Combine ingredients in a food processor and pulse until desired consistency. Cover and refrigerate at least an hour before serving to allow flavors to develop and deepen.
